From very early childhood, I've always drawn, painted, made collages, sewn and embroidered.
My fascination with moving images and animation led me to major in it at the Rhode Island School of Design, where I graduated with a BFA in Film/Animation/Video.
I have worn many hats as an artist.
For 25+ years I worked as staff artist and a freelance illustrator, specializing in work geared towards children and teenagers. Over the course of my career, my clients have included magazines, book publishers, game companies and software apps.
As an Educator, I've taught art classes to kids, teens and college aged young adults. During the pandemic, I earned my MA in Arts Education at Boston University.
Additionally, I maintain a painting studio to feed my obsession with retro imagery, screaming people and images from the natural world. I also curate art shows and generally have a good time.
