A Bit About Me
From very early childhood, I've always drawn, painted, collaged, and made art.
I've always been drawn to movies and theatre and the moving image.
My fascination with animation led me to major in it at the Rhode Island School of Design, where I graduated with a B.F.A. in Film/Animation/Video.
Since the 1990s, I have worn many hats as an artist. I've been a full time staff artist at various computer game companies, a freelance illustrator, children's book author, designer, art director and an app designer. I've illustrated posters, book covers, magazine articles, package covers, t-shirts and card games. I've designed logos and websites.
As an Educator, I've taught classes in illustration and animation to kids, teens and college aged young adults. I am currently pursuing an M.A. in Arts Education at Boston University.
Additionally, I maintain a painting studio to feed my obsession with retro imagery, screaming children and images from the natural world.
