A Bit About Me
From very early childhood, I've always drawn, painted, collaged, and made art.
I've always been drawn to movies and theatre and the moving image.
My fascination with animation led me to major in it at the Rhode Island School of Design, where I graduated with a BFA in Film.
Since the 1990s, I have worn many hats as an artist. I've been a fulltime staff artist at various computer game companies, a freelance illustrator, children's book author, designer, art director and an app designer. I've illustrated posters, book covers, magazine articles, package covers, t-shirts and card games. I've designed logos and websites. I've taught classes in illustration and animation to kids and college aged young adults. Additionally, I maintain a painting studio to feed my obsession with retro imagery, including disgruntled housewives from the 1960s.
