Middle and High School Students! Make a commitment to art this summer at CCA!

All classes are in person in San Francisco, CA at the Potrero Hill Campus

YASP: 1 week intensive in Painting and Drawing for Middle School students

June 9-13, 2025

The focus of this studio is developing the ability to see and then translate visual experience, through investigations of both traditional and nontraditional approaches to various subjects, including nature, abstraction, and the figure. We'll master basic concepts in drawing and painting and then focus on personal projects.

1 Week intensive 2D Atelier for HS students

June 23-27, 2025

We'll be combining both illustration ideas/assignments and printmaking techniques in this fun interactive summer intensive week long workshop!

Pre-College illustration: 4 week intensive for HS juniors or seniors 

July 7-August 1, 2025

Earn 3 college credits! From magazine covers to children’s books, posters, CD packages, fashion drawings, animated characters, movie storyboards, graphic novels, and web images, the work of the illustrator is everywhere in our visually conscious world. You'll explore the craft of drawing through class exercises, presentations of professional work, and group critiques.
